Welcome! I am a professional Musical Theatre performer and singing teacher with over 15 years experience teaching children and adults. Classically trained from the age of 10, I have been performing all my life. After completing a Music Degree at the University of NSW, I then furthered my studies in Singapore at Lasalle College of the Arts with a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre (1st class honours) as well as gaining my AMUS (Associate Diploma in Classical Voice).

Since moving to the UK in 2009, I have worked professionally in the No. 1 West End Tour of 'The Sound of Music' (starring Connie Fisher & Jason Donavon) & spent two years as Understudy Christine Daae in 'The Phantom of the Opera,' (Her Majesty's Theatre, London) where I was lucky enough to play my dream role over 70 times! This means that I not only focus on great vocal technique but also acting/performance skills for concerts, auditions or exams.

As well as teaching privately, I am currently the Head of Singing at Starburst Academy in Watford (www.starburstacademy.com) and I also teach privately at St Clement Danes School in Chorleywood. I am also experienced at preparing students for Musical Theatre and Acting LAMDA exams.

Performing is still a very important part of my life and in 2015 I founded 'Surprise Singers' (www.surprisesingers.com) which provides Singing Waiters for weddings and events. I am also part of an Australian girl group called 'The Girls From Oz' (www.thegirlsfromozgroup.com) and we have performed at the Edinburgh Festival, various cabaret venues in London and for corporate events at Australia House. This tends to work around my teaching and I love that I can use my own current performing experience to inspire my students.
